Udacity「Computer Networking」を修了した.

入社1年目の時に取得したCCNAが今年の夏に切れたことをきっかけに(確認してないけど確か3年が資格保持期間だった気がするので)、もう一度ネットワークを勉強し直そうかと思ってUdacityの講義を受講した。

シラバスの中だと特に最後の講義のInternet Wormsやスパムの話、DoS攻撃の対処といったセキュリティ周りの話が凄く面白い。DBとかよりもネットワークの方が理論的に勉強していて好きだったのもあって、割と楽しめた。本筋の勉強の息抜きとして受講していたので、ノートを取ったりは一切しなかったが、この辺って基本だよなぁと改めてネットワークの重要性や面白みを体験することができたのは良かった。インフラエンジニアじゃないので、仕事で触ることはほぼないと思っているけれど、機会があれば攻撃に対する対処とか考えるのはやってみたいなと(そこだけね)。

ちなみにUdacityは著名な組織のエンジニアが講師ということもあり、実体験や面白い技術話を含みながら講義を進めていくのでかなり面白い。淡々と技術書を読んで勉強するよりかは圧倒的に楽しいと思う。
